The application
Sealixa runs entirely on your machine. It does not upload your documents, signatures, audit trails, certificates or PINs, and it has no telemetry. Activation is a code you paste in; there is no licence server.
What we receive from you
To issue a trial or licence we receive what you send us by email: your name, firm, membership number if you give it, email address, phone number and the machine ID shown in the app. We use it only to issue and support your licence and to send your invoice.
Email features in the app
The optional director confidence email is off by default. If you turn it on, messages are sent from your own mail account using SMTP settings stored on your machine. We never see them.
This website
We count page views to see which pages are useful. We store the page, the date, the referring site and a short one-way daily hash for counting unique visitors. We do not store your IP address and we set no tracking cookies.
If you use the help chat, your question and the answer are stored so we can improve the answers. If you send feedback or a trial request, we store what you type (and, for a trial request, the contact details you enter). Please do not type confidential information into the chat.
The help chat may use a third-party AI service to write answers from our own product notes; your question text is sent to it for that purpose only.
Retention and your rights
We keep licensing records for as long as the licence and applicable tax law require. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to correct or erase your data: [email protected].
